Ice cream social
To start the year off sweetly, we host an ice cream social in the gold gym lobby. At this meeting, students can make new friends or reconnect with old friends!

September
Cook out
At this meeting, students come to Alexander Park to enjoy burgers and can do many things like socialize, play games, or socialize with friends.

October
Homecoming parade
While usually, our October meeting is going to Fall Forum at Brookwood, we also have the privilege of walking the homecoming parade, in which we get in togas and props related to that year's theme and walk, sing, and throw out candy.

November
Bingo night
At our November meeting, we fight over prizes through the ever-so-loved medium of bingo. Warning: It gets scary...

December
Saturnalia
At this meeting, we celebrate Saturnalia by having stations in all the Latin classrooms where students can make cookies and do karaoke, dice, or a service project that changes yearly.

January
"roman wedding" murder mystery
At this meeting, students are invited to a Roman wedding, but plot twist: there's a murder. With the clues they're given, they must figure out who the murderer is.

February
Lupercalia
At this meeting, students get to enjoy many things, such as cards, board games, and video games.

March
Ides of march
At this meeting, students get to learn about the ideas and how they impacted the Roman Empire. Later, students are split up to play Senators and Caesars or the STEM project of balloon chariots.

April
GJCL State convention
Our last event of the year is going to Rock Eagle for the GJCL's annual state convention, where students will be able to explore the realm of classics through workshops, academic competitions, and sports. For more information, consult the GJCL website.
